BASIC INFORMATION
Our normal policy is as
follows, though we can be flexible according to your needs. We will give you an ‘up-front cost' before
you come, or we come to you, by phone & email.
CONFERENCES, EVENTS,
SPECIAL SERVICES: Please call us! First and foremost, we have family
obligations such as schooling! We homeschool our younger ones, and others are
in college here in Tate County. Coupled with ranch responsibilities,
church obligations, plus music practices and commitments, these all require that
we plan prudently. (We certainly do not want to establish chaotic patterns of
life and un-do the very things that we have strived to attain!) This said,
please do talk to us! We usually receive an
honoraria or love-offering, as appropriate.
GUESTHOUSE:
$125/night, up
to four adults. (Children are no
additional cost) The house
sleeps eight
comfortably—each additional adult, $25.
Our guests are just that, our guests,
not customers who just rent a place for the night. We are a family operation, not an impersonal
company or business!
MEALS: The guesthouse has a full kitchen for your use. We suggest that you bring something 'quick & easy' and enjoy the atmosphere here.
Or, we can recommend some nice restaurants 15
minutes or so away, also. We usually can offer homemade muffins or bread
(with home-grown jams & jellies, as available) and juice for
breakfast.
HORSEBACK RIDING,
ETC.: We find it best to schedule
specific times for any trail riding.
Each ride is up to 1.5 hours. Normally we charge $50 for
adults,
MARRIAGE & FAMILY
COUNSELING: Brad conducts Biblical counseling in 1½ hour sessions,
Fees are on a sliding scale based on client household income. Again, we can offer an inclusive combination and discount specific fees. Please ask. We are experienced in marriage and family matters (9 children!)--Brad having worked in this field in ministry since 1990, both having worked with young couples since 1981--but we are not licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, or medical practitioners. It is our experience that the great majority of folks we have worked with need direction, perspective, and "how-to's", not medical or clinical care. We do not accept any insurance coverage. We will further explain this and ask you to sign an acknowledgement.
